Council Member Dan Halloran (R-Whitestone, center) presented City Council citations to Robert LoPinto (to Halloran’s left) and Eugene Brennan at his District Office in Whitestone on Tuesday to honor their years of service on Community Board 7.
Brennan, a retired NYPD detective, previously served as president of the Dwarf Giraffe Little League. On the Board, he served as a member of the Public Safety Committee. An environmental engineer, LoPinto was one of the board’s longest-serving members, and served as its second vice president. Brennan’s son Sean, to the Council Member’s right, accepted the citation on his father’s behalf. LoPinto and Brennan served for 21 and 7 years, respectively.

“I thank Bob LoPinto and Eugene Brennan for their years of dedicated service to our community,” said Halloran. “Their unique experiences and expertise were of great value to the Community Board. Most of all, I admire their commitment to making Queens a better place.”
